I am very happy with these shoes. I take a size 8 in 95% of shoes I buy. On Amazon, I ordered the size identified as 8-8.5. The shoe itself says 39. They are too roomy with bare feet but perfect with socks. I had intended to wear them with socks anyway so I thought they were perfect. They had a nice firm sole that was supportive but not too hard. They also had a perfect amount of arch support. I orderd the gray color and they were exactly as pictured. I can easily wear them outdoors, or around the house in the winter to do housework. I have plantar fasciitis and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I walked at least 2.5 miles in these immediately after purchasing them and didn't think about my feet once because these were so perfect.
