While these boots don't really have arch support, I haven't found it to be a problem. I haven't spent all day walking all over the city (as I will do periodically) but so far I've had no trouble with my feet hurting. I do love that these boots are warm, not excessively so and since I'm in California they aren't exposed to subzero temps but I tend to have cold feet all winter and now I don't.I need a wide calf (16" approx) and when I first put these on I thought they were too snug but that changed quickly. I feel like they've molded to me.I wear a size 10 shoe and have never needed a wide shoe. My feet fit perfectly inside of this shoe with just enough room at the end.The ankles are a little baggy but I don't mind.I also rather like the zipper for decoration at the rim of the boot. It is just half of the zipper track all around the top but it is an interesting touch.
