After searching for the perfect everyday sneakers for months now I'm somewhat disappointed about these. I needed something with removable insoles so I could put orthotic ones in and these are what I finally landed on. As for the looks, I like the distressed style, but the color describing them was definitely not accurate. I got the "green gables" color and these are 100% blue. I still like them, but not really what I wanted or was expecting. They are pretty comfortable with the insoles that come in them, but do not provide hardly any arch support. I have flat feet and will definitely be needing to put in some insoles, but that's fine since the factory ones are removable. A positive is that they are extremely lightweight, like it's kind of weird how light they are. But I'll be interested to see how that affects durability in the long run. So far no blisters or rubbing. The leather upper is very soft which I like. Lastly, in regards to sizing, these run pretty big. I almost always wear a 7 in US women's shoes, but decided to try the 6-6.5 in these based on other reviews, and they fit perfectly, so I would size down if I were you. Overall, I like them and will be keeping them, but they aren't my favorite pair of sneakers I've ever had.Loved these shoes but had to return due to a flaw. The top of the shoe (the piece where the laces thread) has a raw edge where the two pieces of leather are glued rather than seamed, and on the pair I received the glue was no longer holding on one shoe and the leather was fraying apart.Without the flaw, these shoes are amazing. They feel like heaven on your feet, lots of cushion and arch support, and they feel as though you could wear them all day right out of the box. The leather is nice and soft, not stiff, and the leather insole is soft and breathable. I got the color "concrete" and for some reason thought they were white based on the picture. However, they really are "concrete" colored. They are light gray with a slightly beige tone to them.This is a beautiful bootie and I expect nothing less from Ecco. I have over six pairs of Ecco shoes and this is my second pair of the damara style which feels slightly bigger than the other styles. It also has less foot support but it’s good for winter socks. I docked one star due to less arch support as other Ecco styles.The color is gorgeous, an even blue-gray-green. The fit is just a little roomier than I expected, but still OK with a light insert. They will easily accommodate a heavier winter sock. I was afraid the seamline around the perimeter would aggravate bunions, or toes, but I could not feel it at all. I wore them all day with moderate walking, and they remained perfectly comfortable. There is good arch support, and they are very lightweight. I expect to have them for a number of years, as all my other Eccos have lasted a long time.Simple design as usual from Ecco. I'm not really into the color, it reminds me of the stability shoes my grandma wears. Like most European brands I've tried, these are just too narrow and a bit short. I'm a true 9.5, so a 40 is never quite long enough (and my feet can swell quite a lot), and the 41 is a bit too long where my foot slides back and forth and the width doesn't increase as much as I need it to.I love the look of this shoe and the maker. I have a high instep so I could not even get my foot into it.8-( The leather is beautiful and as always with Ecco well made. I orders two sizes because I wanted them to work for me!This color looks NOTHING like the picture. The color is an odd shade of green (hideous)which I can't even describe (and I love green)....much lighter than pictured.I am returning them because I would have liked a larger size . The picture appears more like a microfiber but it is actually a soft smooth leather (very nice)...very different than the camel color (which is a microfiber also nice ...just different).I did not find the usual arch support and comfortable feel with this one and it was too tight with a thicker sock I wanted to wear. The leather is OK, very light grey with laces in suede that match color.At last, a shoe which I have not had to return because it does not fit. Lovely colour, excellent fit. So soft and so very comfortable. I will buy Ecco again.Really comfortable and great fit. Love the colour but I wouldn't call it green more dusky blueOne of my best Ecco pairs. I buy Ecco shoes almost exclusively as they are simply light, comfortable and durable. I have to say that this pair is really gorgeous!
