I didn't know that there were such shoes. I have had some minor struggles with regular shoes and my brace. Not with these. Loosen the laces, unzip, put your foot straight down in, zip it up and adjust the laces for a perfect fit. From then on just unzip and re-zip. No more trying to force the foot in. It just drops right in. I hope they last a while. I just got them so I can't attest to longevity or wear, but they look sturdy and well made. What I find interesting is that the zipper practically disappears. If you didn't know it was there it doesn't draw the eye to it.
