These CATS fit similar to the Active Alaska model, which I loved, but are no longer offered. Comfortable and quality made. I have a wide foot and it's perfect. So why only 4 stars? Well I am disappointed if anything with the shoe designers. Why they didn't stitch the tongue along the edges I just can't fathom. It would have sealed the boot and made them waterproof. Oh I know they don't claim to be waterproof so I shouldn't complain, but it just seem a shame as it spoils what would be otherwise the perfect walking boot.Bought these to replace my decade old pair of CAT boots. The boot is very comfortable as expected and seems to be well built; although I've not used the new pair for very long so maybe I'll edit the review later. The fit could be better. I'm UK10 with a slim/skinny foot but these boots only had UK10 Wide available which is a bit loose around the toe circumference. Ideally I'd have bought UK9.5 Wide if they had the size available.So far these are really really comfortable, I use them for dog walking mainly and they are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned, really thick and warm inside and fit really well.They don't feel as heavy as normal walking shoes or boots and I feel I could walk for miles with no issue in them.Overall I'd recommend theseI had my other CAT boots for nearly 12 years and they have just started to look worn so I wanted new ones....these are excellent replacement, well made and robust. I take an 8 and these are perfect fit. Good price too.These are very comfy and practical on fishing trips and flat walks. They are very good quality, light weightand are a good shape.
