I have Morton's Neuroma in both of my feet, very painful. Because I didn't want to have surgery (it doesn't always work, anyway), my doctor told me I had to wear a certain type of shoe. These are my go-to shoes for work, especially in winter. They are very well made, thick leather, excellent and very stable outer sole, insole is removable and will fit your orthotics if you have them. I don't use orthotics just the insole that comes with the Primrose. They are so comfortable, excellent support for all day walking. I have a pair that I bought five years ago and have only had to replace the insole once (Naot sells the insoles, too), and even though they are a little scuffed, a quick shine with shoe polish will make them look new. I finally bought this new pair to replace the five year old one's that will be used for casual use now. Excellent shoes, well made!I have very mixed feelings about these shoes. They are my first pair of Naots and I got them as my primary work shoe. I have always had issues with my feet, so in my office's business casual environment I struggle to find shoes that are appropriate and comfortable. The good - I LOVE the foot-bed on these. Super comfortable and solid with good arch support. The okay - I'm a 7.5 and I ordered the 38 in these. They're a little too big though; next time I'm getting the 37. As I've worn them, they've gotten looser. The bad - the stitching from the top design on these rubs uncomfortably on the top of my foot. The rubber soles squeak on certain floor types, and, after having these for only a few months, the foot-bed seems to be breaking down a bit and creaks when I walk. For the price, I expected something sturdier and overall more comfortable. That said, I will try Naots again but I'll try to catch them on sale.Usually a Noat size 41 fits me perfectly. I think they are making them a bit smaller than previously because I put on my other Noat size 41 shoes and they fit perfectly. I haven't worn them enough to have stretched them out as my foot got bigger which was what I wondered when I tried these on. I should have tried a size 42. Otherwise these shoes are perfect and beautiful. I was sad to return them and would have made an exchange but I had ordered a variety of Mary Janes to find a good fit.I had owned and worn for a long time, this very shoe in black. Therefore I knew they would fit if indeed the shoe was the true brand and size (as advertised). They arrived promptly, are the exact shoe; great fit and quality. I had hoped to pay less for the Naot shoe through Amazon but that was not the case. Full price for a three year old style. I will blame Naot for that but kiddos as well: they can get it; they charge it.I kept these shoes for two years, not wearing them very often, but trying to get them to work for me. Ultimately I had to concede that they were simply too short. As they were a little wide, my foot would constantly slide forward and the big toe would bump uncomfortably against the front. Regretfully, I put the shoes in the donation bag today.I like Naot shoes, especially the heeled sandals for summer as they have excellent arch support, but did not find these to have the same arch support. They also seem to be a little short in the toe, especially toes 3 - 5. But they look great and I need a great looking pair of shoes for work, so I'm going to try breaking them in slowly at home. Hopefully the leather loosens a bit. While this is a decorative shoe it did not look good on my foot. That is too say, it's not my style. Other than that, it was OK. I did return them. I really like Naot shoes, but some are to narrow at the toe, I just keep trying til I find one I like. I think I have 7 pairs now! (shoes and sandals)I love these shoes. I've owned Naot's before and they lasted for years and never even needed to be broken in. Very, very comfortable, the leather stretches and the heel is super supportive. No blisters on the very first all day wear. I bought these because I am on my feet all day on hard cement floors and I have been recently diagnosed with autoimmune arthritis that affects my knees and back. These shoes have really cut down on my pain. They are totally worth the money. The shoes are well made and comfortable. Excellent for work!
