These definitely don't need to be called baby socks, unless your baby is Big Foot. It's so hard to find the non-skid socks for my 16 month old, so when I saw how cute these were, I decided to give them a try. They are so big, they will fit my 4 year old niece who will be the recipient of them this week. I don't want to bother returning them and don't want to keep them in a drawer for 3 years. I'd rather someone got some use out of them. These socks are super cute. They are a bit big for my 13-month-old but so far they don't fall off. They reach high, like maybe a third of the way up to the knee. I got them because his daycare is shoeless and I didn't want him to slip -- the grippers seem to work great. One thing I do wish is that they made separate sets for girls and boys. There is one pink pair in here, also very cute, but maybe not so great for his wardrobe.I bought these for my 12 month old daughter. She has large feet (wears toddler size 5 shoes) and wears 2T socks in other brands, but these socks were still loose on her; I think they will be great in a few months. They are a cute design but I'm not really sure what the creature on the purple socks are (hippo?). The fabric is a bit thin, but I would still buy them again. She used to hate putting on socks so I got these to entice her (she is 18 months old). She loves the animals on them and loves that they have a tushy on the other side. Very nice.I gave 4 stars and not 5 because they have lots of strings coming apart here and there. There is one animal I cannot figure out (the one on purple sock), but who really cares.I'd say that the socks are a little big for my 85% 7 month old, but she's wearing them anyway. They don't fall off without her pulling them off to chew on them.Really like these socks. The major downside are the colors. Wish they had more neutral colors like Grey, white , any blue etc. Nonetheless they serve the purpose . bought them for my 19 month old who has slightly biggish and chubby feet. They work well.My daughter loves to run around without shoes, but at her grandparent's house (both sides) they have wood and tile floors. I wanted a sock that had a large amount of GOOD grips on the bottom and had a really hard time finding them. (why is this???? grips should be standard on socks from at least 18 mo-2 years old IMO!) Well these are perfect. They fit my standard size 21 month old perfectly and are the same thickness as Carter type socks. The animals are really cute too. Totally worth buying. We have hardwood floors and our daughters feet would get a little chilly but if we didn't put gripper socks on her, she would constantly fall. I say these are a little big, they are for her, but she has a small foot. She wore size nb in her shoes till she was a year old
