These are great looking and ultra comfortable sandals. They looked almost too dark on Amazon website but looked so much better in person and looked very nice on the feet. I usually take an 8 or 39 in these shoes but for these, the 39 was much too long though the width fit. I don't think they were wider than the usual width. These are very cute Roman or fisherman style sandals and very comfortable. I would recommend them. The coffee bean color in the size that didn't fit was dark brown, which is much more attractive than the lighter brown of the other pair. Had the darker coffee bean (brown) fitted, I probably would have kept them. The first pair looked like they had faded and they were sent in a plastic bag, not in the original shoe box although they looked unworn.
