Supremely secure and comfortable structure and materials! The suede is strong and yet pliable. The footbed has a perfect arch and the sole has a completely skid resistant covering from toe to heel. I have another pair in a tan color and would buy them in every color if I could only justify it to myself.This is the latest pair of Naot sandals I've purchased and they are as comfortable as my three other pairs. They needed no break-in time and provide me with the arch support necessary to be on my feet all day. My expectation is that they will hold up for many years to come.Love these sandals . Nice walking and standing sandals.Stylish, yet great support.Naots are the only sandal I have found that allow me to remove the insole and replace it with my orthotics, so I have been wearing these for years. I wish they would make a dressier white sandal that handles orthotics. I bought these to replace navy sandals I've been wearing most of the summer for years. The sandals still look fine, but I thought that , perhaps like my walking shoes that need replacing biannually as the cushioning loses some of its softness, it was time for another pair.If you've never worn Naots and have orthotics, if your orthotic isn't as long as the cork insole you remove, it's easy to cut the cork insole to fit the space between it and the toe of the sandal.I wear nothing but NAOT but a different style shoe!I put these on and wore them for a full day. They have just the right support and are super comfortable. I have narrow feet and they fit very well. I don't know how they'd work for average or wide feet; although the straps have elastic for stretch. I will remember this brand for future shoe shopping. The quality seems very good. It's more than I would usually pay for a sandal - but I think it was worth it.Velcro on straps in the front of foot and around the ankle makes it easy to adjust to the foot. It is very convenient if you experience swelling. Shoes were comfortable for the entire time I wore them.
