The soles of these shoes are very comfy - like walking on clouds. I was looking for shoes to wear on cobblestone streets on our travels, while not standing out too badly like a tourist. These fit the bill - they feel like comfort shoes but don't look like them. I plan to wear them a lot.The only issue is the sizing. I wear a consistent 39 in most shoes, and I ordered a size 39 in these... they were huge. So I sent them back and ordered a 38, and oddly they still fit funny. The length of the sole is a little short, while the straps are still very loose on my feet. If I'm standing straight with equal weight on both feet, the straps don't even touch my feet, if that makes sense. So I'm worried they won't feel secure with walking long distances.
